Operations Technician

Salary: $27,000 to $30,000

The NTC Promenade is a community facility with a broad range of activities in the fields of recreation, education, performing arts, environmental concerns, physical fitness, and healing arts. There is conference, event, and meeting spaces to support almost any event or budget.

Qualified candidates need to be versatile and flexible team-players, safety-oriented and proficient in all aspects of facilities operation and maintenance, and possess strong interdisciplinary skills including minor repair, cleaning, customer service, and organizational skill.  Qualified individuals are expected to be self motivated and be able to work with limited supervision. The position reports to the Operations Management team.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Daily operations and maintenance of Foundation buildings, rental spaces and grounds, to include:
    • Cleaning of buildings & common areas
    • Facility maintenance, including, minor plumbing and electrical, painting, & other minor repairs
    • Minor security presence
  • Setup & Teardown of furniture, required equipment and supplies for events
  • Event monitoring, including intermediate cleaning, client relationship/needs, & minor security
  • Audio/Visual & Information Technology support as needed for events
  • Work closely with both the Client Services & Sales Departments to ensure all client needs are met
  • Primary interface with Resident Groups on building related matters
  • Respond proactively to event changes, requests, problems and emergencies
  • Be primary contact for visitors to the Foundation buildings & grounds

The position is a full-time (40 hours per week) job without a defined schedule. Candidates need to be able to work any day (seven days a week) and any assigned shift.  Some overtime may be required. Please send resumes and references to tbohan@ntcfoundation.org.
