Looking for a fun and artful Summer Camp experience? Check out these options from ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station tenants. Banyan Tree Learning Center: Choose from 6-week, half-days at Compass Academy or 1-to-1 sessions in the Learning Center! Bilingual Kids : Bilingual Kids Spanish, Mandarin or ESL immersive Language summer camps consist of a unique blend of language and culture. They are fun, educational and progressive. The camps are engaging and conducted by qualified native teachers, in the target language of choice. All levels are welcomed! You will be amazed at how much your children will learn while having a blast! Milk Oolong Pottery : This is a two hour, small format pottery wheel/ceramics camp. Learn skills on the pottery wheel, sculpting, hand-building, and surface decoration to create a variety of projects Mockingbird Improv: In these youth classes, play a bunch of silly games and exercises that turn students into budding improvisers and performers by learning teamwork, creativity, and the power of a positive attitude. Improv gives kids a place to be free and expressive, develop their emotional intelligence, laugh a lot, and make friends. Monart School of Art : Half-day summer art camps where kids of all skill levels can learn drawing fundamentals & mixed-media techniques, while exploring a variety of subjects and art materials. Campers create their own portfolio along with several beautiful works of art inspired by fun summer themes! Neighboring music, craft & yoga camps are available in our building if full-day coverage is needed. San Diego Craft Collective: Summer Camps are offered with specific craft themes for children who want to explore fun, hands on projects in an area of interest. Summer Camps include: Woodworking, Wood & Clay, Fashion Design, Sewing Basics, Gardening, as well as a general Crafts Camp.
